About Us

Dr. Leah Schorr is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and Colorado and a nationally certified school psychologist.  She earned her PsyD in School Psychology from Georgian Court University. She completed both her doctoral internship and post-doctoral training at the Lakewood Community Services Corporation (LCSC) and the Lakewood Board of Education, where she continues to work. At LCSC, she conducts neuropsychological evaluations and provides evidence-based therapy to a diverse client population. Through the Lakewood Board of Education, she case manages and performs psychological evaluations for students with a wide range of needs, including specific learning disabilities, hearing and visual impairments, intellectual disabilities, anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), genetic disorders, and other medical conditions

Dr. Schorr specializes in treating children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, ASD, behavioral challenges, tics and Tourette Syndrome, Trichotillomania, OCD, school refusal, and selective mutism. She has extensive experience in diagnostic, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational assessment for school-aged children, teacher consultation, and school-based interventions. She is also dedicated to preventative initiatives, such as social-emotional learning and improving school climate, and has trained numerous teachers in these areas. Passionate about advancing research to support evidence-based treatments and best practices in the field, Dr. Schorr has taught research courses at both Concordia University and Saint Peter’s University, where she emphasized the importance of integrating research into clinical and educational settings.
